The pages of the site have been designed and revised according to the guidelines defined in the document 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0', issued by the WAI working group belonging to the W3C. The objective of these guidelines is to facilitate access to the information offered from the Internet to all citizens. Among the main measures that have been adopted are the following:

  • Images: Alternative text mode versions have been included for relevant content graphics.
  • Text size: The fonts used on the website have relative dimensions, which means that the user can control their size from the browser they are using.
    • Increase the size of the Text: Pressing the 'Control' and '+' keys simultaneously.
    • Decrease the size of the Text: Pressing the 'Control' and '-' keys simultaneously.
    • Alternatively, the size of the text can be increased or decreased by pressing the 'Control' key while scrolling the Mouse.
    • Return to original size: Pressing the 'Control' and '0' keys simultaneously.
  • Design, navigation and interactivity: We have tried to achieve a coherent navigation throughout the portal, following the same structural diagrams on all pages. In addition, the use of Javascript has been avoided to interact with the site. Likewise, the information has been separated from its graphic presentation so that users who wish to can browse the contents at a higher speed, disabling the download of style sheets in their browser.
  • Accessibility level: The portal has been validated with the TAW tool and reviewed with different devices, the general accessibility level achieved is double-A (AA).
